# ExportMyMap

> Export Google Maps saved places — Starred, Want to go, custom lists — to a shareable link, PDF, Print layout, CSV, XLSX (Excel), JSON, GeoJSON, KML, or GPX. Works via a free Chrome extension or by uploading the Google Takeout `Saved Places.json` file at exportmymap.com.

Google Maps has no built-in feature to export saved places. ExportMyMap fills that gap: a Chrome extension reads your saved lists directly from the Google Maps page, or you can upload your Google Takeout JSON on the website. Identity is your email address — no password, no OAuth flow. Payment runs through Stripe Payment Links. The free tier previews the first ten places with a watermark; paid tiers unlock unlimited exports across all nine formats.

## Privacy and trust

- The Chrome extension uses your existing Google Maps session; it never asks for a password or runs an OAuth flow.
- Place data stays in your browser unless you explicitly generate a Share Link, which uploads an encoded payload to resolve the short URL.
