The full trip a saved list takes from Google Maps into OsmAnd: export as GPX in the browser, import as Favorites in the app.
0:00 — Install the extension
The clip opens on the ExportMyMap listing in the Chrome Web Store and adds the extension. The onboarding page that follows covers the two one-time steps: pin the extension from the puzzle-piece icon, then open a saved list on google.com/maps.
0:22 — Pick the list and the places
Google Maps loads with the ExportMyMap panel open over the map. The places in the list appear as a checklist, so individual places can be dropped before exporting. Two options at the bottom of the panel matter for this export: Include your notes, and Include place details in KML/GPX.
0:36 — Load the place details
With place details enabled, the extension fetches address, phone number, website and rating for each place and shows a progress dialog while it works. The narration is explicit about the trade-off: leave that box unchecked and the export carries only the place name and GPS coordinates.
0:41 — Export as GPX
The export panel offers Share Link, Print List and PDF on one row, then the file formats — CSV, Excel, JSON, GeoJSON, KML and GPX. GPX is the one OsmAnd wants for Favorites, and it downloads straight to the browser.
0:46 — Import into OsmAnd
OsmAnd opens on My Places → My Favorites, where the Import favorite action reads the GPX file. By 0:57 the imported places are listed as Favorites — Accident Hospital Berlin Emergency Room, Blankenfelde, Dong Xuan Center, Mühlenbeck — each pinned on the map. The same import works on Android and iOS.
